Thanksgiving Crafts

This is my first year hosting Thanksgiving dinner. I am cooking a 16lb turkey with all the trimmings. I decided that since placemats get messy anyway, I would use my creativeness to create my own using the cutest 2 year old hands imaginable to make Turkey handprints! I used my Cricut to cut out my guests names and VIOLA...Super cute! Also - I never use napkin rings - too fancy and too expensive! So I made my own, again using the cricut! Used the turkey cutout from the Doodlecharms cartridge and created a paper ring I adhered to the back and they are great! And when we are done - I can just throw it all away and not have to worry about getting out the gravy stains!

Welcome to my crafty corner! As many of you who know me, I am love a fun crafty project. Whether I am working on my traditional scrapbook albums, clicking away on the computer creating digital books or making a fingerpaint turkey with my 2 1/2 year old daughter Kaitlyn, preserving my family's memories is my passion. Kaitlyn's 3rd Year

I am currently working on three albums - our family album, Brady's baby album and Kaitlyn's album. Being how time consuming and tedious traditonal scrapbooking can be - I chose to do Kaitlyn's album digitally. I am working on her 3rd year album - its a 12x12 hardbound storybook that I can create uniquely for each milestone. I can add up to 100 pages - which is great since I take pictures of everything!
